Prepare for US Citizenship with Solutions in Hometown Connections (SHC)! SHC citizenship classes are designed for people who have their United States Permanent Residency documentation, who entered the US as refugee, asylee, SIV, or VAWA.
About the Screening Process:
Before participating in the class, SHC will be conducting a screening process. Documentation you can expect to provide includes a green card or Employment Authorization document.
About Solutions in Hometown Connections' Service:
SHC provides instruction in literacy, civics and ESL to prepare students for the interview and will assist students with connecting to community resources. SHC will also provide a referral for legal services to prepare the N 400 application for SHC class participants.
Library customers who are interested in citizenship class can fill in our online form and will be contacted for an assessment and evaluation to join our next session in January 2025.
