November 14, 2018 - Little Fires Everywhere, by Celeste Ng (Fiction) - NY Times Bestseller, Book of the Year by various publications. (352 pages)  Explores the weight of secrets, the nature of art and identity, and the ferocious pull of motherhood – and the danger of believing that following the rules can avert disaster.

January 9, 2019 - The Goldfinch, by Donna Tartt (Fiction) - Pulitzer Prize for Fiction (771 pages)  A beautifully written coming-of-age novel with exquisitely drawn characters that follows a grieving boy's entanglement with a small famous painting that has eluded destruction, a book that stimulates the mind and touches the heart.

February 13, 2019 - Sing, Unburied, Sing, A Novel by Jesmyn Ward (Fiction) - Winner of the National Book Award for Fiction, NY Times Top 10 of 2017 (320 pages)  This road novel is a slender epic of three generations and the ghosts that haunt them as well as a portrait of what ordinary folk in dire circumstances cleave to as well as what they are trying to outrun.
