Three young Prince Georgians recently won Towson University’s College Cup with Everybody Eats, a food truck with a purpose. Bruno Verdonk, founder and head chef, Jared Hamlin, business consultant and creative director, and Bryce Carter, market specialist and community outreach will talk about how they will combat food insecurity with Everybody Eats.
Everybody Eats’ mission is to provide a tasty, affordable, all-day-breakfast food option for college students and the community alike. While providing this affordable food option, Everybody Eats will also provide a redistribution initiative to give a portion of profits back to the surrounding Prince George’s County community. Everybody Eats aims to tackle food insecurity in the college community through their affordable all-day-breakfast offerings and among the general public, as nearly half of Prince George’s County residents struggle with some sort of food insecurity.
Read more about their success at Towson University and their upcoming plan here, and join Prince George's County Office of Human Rights and PGCMLS in conversation with them on June 9th at 4 pm.
