Prince George’s CASH (Creating Assets Savings and Hope) Campaign is a coalition of financial institutions, faith-based, and non-profit organizations that focuses on expanding the financial empowerment of our community members. They seek to bring more funds into our communities by expanding access to free tax preparation. CASH’s free tax program is under the Internal Revenue Service’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.
Program Description
Prince George’s CASH Campaign will provide certified volunteer tax preparers to file people’s taxes for free. Library locations chosen by the organization will be at select libraries with low to moderate-income and senior neighborhoods not already served by other organizations in their coalition (CASA, CTA, PGC Community College etc.)
