This program is designed for children ages 2-3 with language delays and their caregivers. Parents will gain a better understanding of how children develop language and strategies they can use to promote their child’s language development in natural, everyday situations. Presented by PGCPS Infants and Toddlers Program for their early intervention students and up to 4 community families.
In the group sessions, parents and their children engage in a variety of whole-group and small-group activities. The speech and language therapist circulates between the children and coaches the parents on strategies that may be helpful in eliciting language.
