About our Guest:

Dakotah Tyler went from Division I college football to studying the universe, trading the gridiron for galaxies after an injury redirected his path. He earned a PhD in Astronomy and astrophysics at UCLA, where he researched exoplanets and the evolution of planetary systems using some of the most advanced telescopes on Earth. His work has been published in leading astrophysics journals, and his research experience includes collaborations with institutions like Caltech, NASA, and Harvard.
Beyond academia, he makes science accessible through public talks, media appearances, and digital content. A passionate writer and educator, he is dedicated to bridging science, technology, and education, inspiring others to embrace curiosity, resilience, and the pursuit of knowledge.
