Large Meeting RoomDiscover the story behind “Puro Ritmo: The Musical Journey of Salsa,” a Smithsonian exhibition exploring the evolution of Afro-Cuban music into a defining sound in the U.S. After the presentation, participants can create their own version of Celia Cruz’s iconic shoe using cardstock and craft supplies. Family participation is encouraged!
