If you are a student, parent/guardian, educator, or any other member of the Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) community—they want to hear from you. PGCPS will hold virtual community meetings in January to gather input on the Comprehensive School Boundary Initiative.
The initiative will provide an impartial analysis of current school boundaries, feeder patterns and program
locations to develop potential adjustments for new and expanded school facilities, and balance facility
utilization system-wide. As PGCPS works to get students back into classrooms safely amid the ongoing
COVID-19 pandemic, it is more important than ever to plan thoughtfully for student enrollment growth. Participate in one of the upcoming virtual community meetings to learn more about the Boundary Initiative, hear
about new and expanded school facilities, and share your thoughts on priorities that should impact the school
system’s boundaries before recommendations are developed and made to the Board of Education.
