Learn the stories of enslaved persons, indentured servants, and wage earners who lived at Marietta House. For detailed directions, please see pgcgs.org where you will find more information.
Dr. Julie Rose, Historic House Manage of Marietta Historic House Museum in Glenn Dale, will inform us about the museum's major reinterpretation effort called the Giving Voice Initiative, part of their pursuit for social justice education. We will learn of their efforts to uncover the stories of the people who lived and worked at the historic site to find stories that help represent the despair and fortitude of past and present communities.
