Under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs), University of Maryland School of Nursing students will conduct free weekly health screenings, referrals, health education and classes on a variety of topics, including stress reduction, healthy eating and nutrition, managing chronic illness, and low impact exercises.
Nursing students can assist with:
Students cannot assist with first aid, wound care, emergency services, diagnosis of illness, or vaccinations.

12:30 pm - 1:30 pm Talk Health with the University of Maryland School of Nursing: bring your lunch for a learning opportunity where we will discuss important health topics followed by an interactive health-focused game.

1:30 pm - 2:00 pm Low Impact Cardio Experience invigorating chair exercises to boost heart health and fitness. Perfect for all fitness levels. Open to library participants & community.
