PGCMLS Interlibrary Loan Portal Update – August 2026
Marina is getting a new look!
The Prince George’s County Memorial Library System (PGCMLS) uses a service called Marina to facilitate interlibrary loan requests within the state of Maryland.
Beginning August 31, 2026, Marina will be upgrading its resource-sharing platform to help you find and request items from other Maryland libraries. The interface will provide you with a wider array of filtering and search options to make it easier to find and request relevant titles across multiple formats.
This guide will walk you through everything you need to know about how to use Marina using the new platform.
Accessing Marina
Links to Marina can be found on the PGCMLS website in the same locations as before:
- In the digital catalog (on desktop: at the bottom of the left-hand column)
- On the Borrow from Other Libraries – Interlibrary Loans page
