In this hands-on workshop, kids will explore basic biomedical engineering concepts by creating their own potato battery that can power an LED light bulb! The program begins with a brief, kid-friendly introduction to biomedical engineering, and then the kids will roll up their sleeves to gather materials and build their very own potato battery.
This program can accommodate 20 children, and participation will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Best suited for children in grades 3–5.
