Most importantly, you will gain the confidence you need to make effective use of your computer.
After this 4-day course, participants will be able to:
- Identify basic computer components and operating system features
- Execute basic mouse techniques
- Perform basic keyboard strokes and functions
- Identify and navigate the features of the Desktop
- Open and exit software programs
- Identify and navigate the various toolbars of the Windows environment
- Create and save a document to the Desktop or to a flash drive (please bring your own flash drive)
Four-day series; Monday through Thursday from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
Day 1: Monday, February 2nd - Hardware & Mouse Skills Practice
Day 2: Tuesday, February 3rd - Software & Keyboard Practice
Day 3: Wednesday, February 4th - File Management
Day 4: Thursday, February 5th - Internet & Email
