In the award-winning documentary "The Condor and the Eagle", four Indigenous leaders embark on a trans-continental adventure from the Canadian Boreal forests to deep into the heart of the Amazonian jungle to unite the peoples of North and South America and deepen the meaning of “Climate Justice”. Registrants will receive a link to watch the film by livestream within 14 days of the Film Discussion.
Paz Artaza-Regan works at Catholic Climate Covenant, where she oversees the work of the Creation Care Teams network, the development of educational materials, and monthly webinars. Her passion, for the past three decades, has been to empower impacted and frontline communities to tell their stories and get a seat at the public policy table. She is originally from Santiago, Chile. “When the eagle of the North and the condor of the South fly together, Indigenous peoples will unite the human family.”
