Monkeypox Virtual Townhall

Join Health Officer Dr. Ernest Carter and a panel of experts to get educated about monkeypox and learn about prevention, testing, treatment, vaccination and more. There will also be a Q&A session. Hosted by Prince George's County Health Department.

Dear Prince Georgians,

With confirmed cases of monkeypox continuing to rise in the United States and in Maryland, we are working to ensure that our residents receive the most up-to-date information and have access to appropriate services and resources. In response to this recent global outbreak, our County Health Department is hosting a Monkeypox Virtual Townhall on Wednesday, August 10, from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

This virtual townhall discussion will feature a panel of our top health experts who will provide important information about monkeypox including prevention, testing, treatment, and vaccination. Residents will also have the opportunity to ask questions and get answers from our health experts.
