Kids Achieve Club

The mission of the Kids Achieve Club (KAC) program is to provide academic support through homework assistance and reading practice for English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) students in grades 1-6. The program was created to support the unique needs of English Learners to foster a love of reading and to provide academic support. Although KAC was created to align with the needs and to engage English Learners, it is an inclusive program. Children of all backgrounds and ethnicities are invited to participate. 

Take a look at our foundation booklet titled Kids Achieve Club Reading Activities by Dr. Dawn Jacobs Martin Ph.D. This booklet is filled with reading strategies integrated with the Five Pillars of Literacy, making it the perfect resource and guide for mentors, parents, and caregivers.

La misión del programa Kids Achieve Club (KAC) es proveer apoyo académico y asistencia en las tareas y practicar la lectura para estudiantes de inglés como segundo idioma en los grados 1° - 6°.  El programa fue creado específicamente para proveer un servicio de las necesidades de estudiantes que están aprendiendo el inglés o que el inglés es su segundo idioma para fomentar un amor a la lectura y proveer apoyo académico. Aunque el programa KAC fue creado para alinearse con las necesidades e involucrar a estudiantes de inglés como segundo idioma es un programa inclusivo.  Niños de todo origen y etnicidad son bienvenidos a participar.
