PGCMLS Mobile App

The PGCMLS app provides easy access to library resources and services. With it you can:

  • Search the library's catalog
  • Manage your library account
  • Download eBooks, audiobooks, music and magazines
  • Research a broad variety of topics
  • Access online resources

Mobile Apps for Downloading, Watching, Reading & Listening

The following mobile apps provide access to some of our online resources. To configure the apps, you will need your library card number and personal identification number (PIN). Some apps may require a separate account to be created.


Beanstack Tracker

Track your reading to earn incentives at your library and stay motivated to read more.

ComicsPlus Library Edition

Enjoy 24/7 access to thousands of digital graphic novels and comics. Browse by genre, publisher or title; checkout is for seven days with unlimited renewals.

Freegal Music

Download and listen to songs from Freegal Music, which contains millions of songs to choose from. With your PGCMLS card download up to 5 songs a week and stream up to 3 hours of music a day. In the iOS version, songs are saved in the Freegal app.

Hoopla Digital

Hoopla offers thousands of movies, television shows, music albums. Borrow up to 6 titles per month for free with your PGCMLS library card.

Kanopy

Kanopy is an online video streaming platform with 26,000 movies, documentaries, and indie and foreign films from over hundreds of producers including The Criterion Collection, The Great Courses, Kino Lorber, PBS, and thousands of independent filmmakers. Users are limited to 10 videos streamed every month.

Libby: the one-tap reading app

Browse and borrow eBooks, eAudiobooks, magazines at home or on-the-go! The Libby app has a wide range of customization and accessibility options, allowing you to create your perfect reading experience.

Please note: Since February 23, 2022, the OverDrive app has no longer been available in the Google Play, Apple, and Microsoft app stores. You can now use the Libby app to access the same collection of PGCMLS eBooks and eAudiobooks on your Android, iOS, or Microsoft devices.

Mobile Apps for e-Learning & Research


Brainfuse

Submit questions to tutors, take class notes, track your homework assignments, and study with flashcards using the Brainfuse app. Your username and password are your library card number and library PIN.

EBSCOhost

Retrieve articles from magazines, reference books, and scholarly journals in EBSCO research databases. To use the EBSCOhost app, you will need an authorization key. Access an EBSCOhost research database via the library's website. At the bottom of the page, click on "EBSCOhost iPhone and Android Applications." Enter your email and the key to the app will be emailed to you.

Reference Solutions

Discover addresses and phone numbers for businesses and for people.

Transparent Language

Learn over 30 languages using this mobile app. To use the Transparent Language app, you will need an authorization key. Access the Transparent Language research database via the library's website. Create a user id, if you do not already have one. Click on "Go Mobile" at the top of the page. Click on "Get mobile User Name" and enter your unique mobile username and password.

Mango Languages

Download the Mango app to learn a new language on the go with hands-free features and offline accessibility.
