About the presenter: Bear Afkhami has twelve years of experience in the homeland security field, including prevention, protection, mitigation, response and recovery work. Bear has a BA in Intelligence and an MS in Analytics. He combines his degree in intelligence and interest in international relations, to write and lecture on the impact of foreign policy, foreign/domestic extremist organizations, and use of intelligence. He has written articles for FireRescue1, EMS1, Police1 and Fire Chief magazines and speaks at homeland security and emergency management conferences.
