Small Meeting RoomNew to using computers? This class for adults will introduce you to some basic computer terminology and lead you through practice activities to help you develop your digital literacy skills.
Join us in a 4 week course where participants will be able to:
- Identify basic computer components and operating system features
- Execute basic mouse techniques
- Perform basic keyboard strokes and functions
- Identify and navigate the features of the Desktop
- Open and exit software programs
- Identify and navigate the various toolbars of the Windows environment
- Create and save a document to the Desktop or to a flash drive (please bring your own flash drive)
Four-week series every Thursday from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. The first four week series will be from April 25th – May 16th. There will be a two week break before the second Thursday four week series begins on June 6th.
Week 1: April 25th — Hardware & Mouse Skills Practice
Week 2: May 2nd — Software & Keyboard Practice
Week 3: May 9th — File Management
Week 4: May 16th — Internet & Email
