Blood Pressure Clinic

Take charge of your health at our free blood pressure screening sessions. Led by University of Maryland School of Nursing students, get your blood pressure checked, and bring your medications for a personalized review. Empower yourself with valuable insights to manage your health better. Open to all, join us in prioritizing well-being!

Under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs), University of Maryland School of Nursing students will conduct free weekly health screenings, referrals, health education, and classes on a variety of topics, including stress reduction, healthy eating and nutrition, managing chronic illness, and low impact exercises. Open to all community members.

Nursing students can assist with:

• General health screenings
• Mental health screenings
• Medication education
• Linking to healthcare services
• Primary Care Referrals
• Health education and promotion

Students cannot assist with first aid, wound care, emergency services, diagnosis of illness, or vaccinations.
