Did you know that LinkedIn is the most viewed profile for recruiters? Do you need to build a great LinkedIn profile to get a great job? This two-part session will be instructed by Dr. Elisse Barnes, the LinkedIn Driving Instructor.

The first session focuses on 1) how LinkedIn differs from other social media platforms, 2) its functions and internal metrics, 3) the components of a complete profile, 4) the advantages LinkedIn provides to the jobseeker, and 5) the first two Rules of the Road for Success on LinkedIn.

The second session focuses on 1) providing jobseekers with the necessary tools to proactively strategically and effectively expand their network on LinkedIn as part of an overall job search strategy, 2) creating a consistent, persistent, forward looking, skill-based message, 3) engaging allies to assist them in their job search, 4) getting the most out of the time spent on LinkedIn, and 5) the final two Rules of the Road for Success on LinkedIn.
