Birding 101: Field Trip

Meet in Lake Artemesia Parking Lot: 5400 Berwyn Rd and Ballew Ave. Berwyn Heights, MD

For folks who attended the Birding 101 program or who have a basic familiarity with birds and birding, we'll put all we've learned to the test at Lake Artemesia. We will watch for signs of migration and listen as resident birds start singing to proclaim their nesting territories.

Meet in the parking lot: 5400 Berwyn Road at the intersection with Ballew Ave. Berwyn Heights, MD, Park trails are easy and handicapped accessible. Weather permitting. If it rains, the program will be cancelled.

This learning experience is open to adults and family members 13 years of age and older.
