About our guest:
Katie Dickinson is the Climate Action Officer within the Prince George’s County Department of the Environment, where she drives the implementation of the County Climate Action Plan (CAP) and guides the execution of climate-related strategies and initiatives. Before beginning this role in March 2025, Katie worked at the U.S. Department of the Treasury where she served as the Climate Change and Sustainability Specialist in charge of managing the Department’s first Sustainability Office. Prior to Treasury, Katie worked on green workforce development and climate action implementation for the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District in the San Francisco Bay Area. Katie holds a Master of Science in Climate Science and Solutions from Northern Arizona University.
